360 Deals

Music Publshing Glossary

360 Deals are contracts that recording artists sign exclusively with a record label. These contracts allow the label to receive a percentage of the artist’s earnings from all revenue streams, not just sales of recorded music. These revenue streams may include royalties from publishing, income from live concerts, sales of merchandise, endorsement deals, book and movie deals, ringtone sales, and more.
