Can UniteSync Help With My PRO Registration?

Please note that to use UniteSync, you must be a member of a PRO or CMO. If you are not currently a member of a PRO or CMO, you will need to apply directly on the collection society’s website. To help make this process as seamless as possible, we have created a Collection Society Database that includes the PROs or CMOs in each country and territory, along with their corresponding information.

We at UniteSync Music care about your privacy; therefore, before proceeding with this 'Know Your Clients' procedure, we wanted you to know a few things.

UniteSync is committed to our clients and constantly strives to deliver efficient, tech-based solutions to music publishing administration. While efficiency and excellent service are important to us, so is integrity and ensuring everything we do is done ethically and in the best interest of not only our own clients but all creators and musicians worldwide.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS: The purpose of the 'Know Your Clients' process is fraud prevention. UniteSync wants to ensure we collect on behalf of and pay the correct rights holders. UniteSync values the contribution creators make to this beautiful industry and wants to make every effort to ensure that we always work towards making the music industry a fairer place. We will use the data to ensure the people claiming royalties are who they say they are.

By continuing the 'Know Your Clients' process below, you will be: (i) explicitly consenting to UniteSync processing and temporarily storing your data as further details in UniteSync's Privacy Policy; and (ii) explicitly consenting to UniteSync's partner in this process, Persona, also processing and storing your data on behalf of UniteSync.

You can find more information in our Privacy Policy here, but here are the TLDR highlights:

• UniteSync will be the data controller for the data provided throughout this 'Know Your Clients' process and will store the information for up to six months.
• Persona will be the data processor and UniteSync's trusted partner for this process. No other third parties will hold or process the data provided to us during the 'Know Your Clients' process. You can learn more about Persona's security and compliance information and privacy policy here.
• Your data will be processed and stored throughout the 'Know Your Clients' process for fraud prevention, and it will not be used for any other purpose.
• All of your Individual Rights (i.e., Right to be informed, Right to access, Right to rectification, Right to erasure, Right to restrict processing, Right to restrict portability, Right to object, Rights related to automated decision making, including profiling) afforded by the GDPR are protected, and UniteSync's complete information is contained in our Privacy Policy, should you want to exercise any of these rights.
• You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will delete your information immediately. To do so, email us at privacy@unitesync.com.
