Exclusive Songwriter Agreement (“Staff Writer” Contract)

This is a contract between a songwriter and a publishing company. The agreement states that the songwriter will give the entire publisher’s share of any songs written during the term of the contract to the publishing company. In exchange, the songwriter will receive regular advances, which can be seen as a salary. However, the publishing company may recoup these advances at a later stage.
