Arrangement

An arrangement is a type of adaptation where a musical composition is updated by changing the way instruments, sounds, and voices are used in presenting it. In most cases, the arranger receives songwriting credit for the new arrangement, in agreement with and alongside the original songwriters. Moreover, if a composer creates a new arrangement of a public domain work, they are entitled to songwriting credit for the new version.
